Often referred to as a plastic window well cover, polycarbonate is a transparent, nearly unbreakable, thermoplastic. Custom polycarbonate covers have a framework built from 2” angle iron and a polycarbonate top. The polycarbonate top is great for keeping people and pets safe by preventing falls into a basement window well. They are also great to keep leaves and trash out of your window well. Our custom polycarbonate window well cover frame is powder coated black to give it a clean look and durable finish. Each custom window well cover is rated to hold 400 lbs, and uses our inner fit system that prevents the cover from slipping. All of our window well covers are completely removable, so that in the event of an emergency someone could quickly remove the cover and escape from the home. Standard Steel Window Well Cover
$189.00 – $249.00Standard fit window well covers are built to the standard size of window wells found in Utah. When placing your order you will measure the length and width of each window well at its widest points and then select the appropriate size at checkout.
Our standard fit window well covers are manufactured locally here in Utah. They are constructed with a solid steel frame of 1.5” angle iron and have an expanded metal top. Each cover is rated to hold 300 lbs, and is safe and secure for both adults and children to stand on. Standard fit window well covers are a more cost effective option compared to a custom window well cover, and still have many of the same benefits. Standard fit window well covers sit on the outside of the window well, and we’ve created our covers with a special notch system that prevents the window well cover from being able to slide off of the well. Each standard fit window well cover is completely removable, and comes with a lifetime structural warranty.
